Ralph Abraham, chaos pioneer, author of “Chaos, Gaia, Eros”, and Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at UC Santa Cruz will present an overview of chaos theory and its evolutionary significance, focusing on the pivotal role that image plays in the social application of chaos theory and the creation of culture: “Culture is the exfoliation of an image as germ, the unfolding of a cognitive map in its role as seed of society;”

WHAT IS REALITY? A DISCUSSION OF ABSOLUTES
Ruth-Inge Heinze, researcher in psychological anthropology, comparative religion, and alternative medicine, whose fieldwork is reflected in “Shamans of the 20th Century”, “Trance and Healing in Southeast Asia Today,” and “The Nature and Function of Rituals”, will demonstrate the nature of different realities we are not always aware of and will guide participants through the experience of an absolute reality;

Marilyn Ferguson, publisher of the Brain/Mind Bulletin, author of “The Brain Revolution” and “The Aquarian Conspiracy” – a book Max Lerner said “will leave a mark on the consciousness of our time” – will speak about her forthcoming book “Aquarius Now”, and her continuing research on the renaissance in networking, the restructuring of knowledge, and the transformation of culture;

THE DREAMING UNIVERSE
Fred Alan Wolf, physicist, writer, and lecturer on consciousness and the new physics, author of “Mind into Matter,” ‘Parallel Universes’, ‘Taking the Quantum Leap’ (which won the American Book Award) will present “The Dreaming Universe,” a multimedia presentation based on his book exploring the archetypal realm “where psyche and physics meet.”
